“Twilight at the Eiffel Tower” by Howard Behrens

“Magical! Is there any better word in the English language to describe walking in the park in front of the Eiffel Tower at dusk? The French themselves always say… ‘C’est Magnifique!’ And that it is. I have visited Paris many times but on one particular trip, I realized that I had been searching for brilliant flowers and quaint chalets in both the city and in the surrounding villages when perhaps there is nothing more compelling for an artist to paint than the Eiffel Tower. Imagine standing there alongside me at twilight – as this iconic symbol of Paris comes alive with lights that set it aglow from top to bottom. Those who collect this work of art will hopefully join me in recalling the countless movies and songs (and now – my work of art) that have captured the magic of this scene.” – Behrens
